transform v.改变；使变形[记]trans-转；-form形式。形式转变了，叫变形。[变]transformation n.转化;变形[例]Above zero degree centigrade,the ice will transform into the water．冰在零摄氏度以上时会转化成水。
formula n.公式；准则；配方[记]都是慢慢形成(form-)，才有了(-ula)公式。[串]公式的两边是配方，公式是做题目的准则。[变]formulate v.用公式表示；系统地说明；规划uniform n.制服；军服 a.一致的；相同的[记]uni-一，单(unit，单元）;form形式。大家都一个形式，穿上了制服，整齐划一。[变]uniformity n.一致性(一致地成为了一体i-ty)[例]It doesn't matter whether a couple has uniform thoughts,but it matters a lot whether theycan understand each other．情侣之间想法不一定要一样；能不能理解彼此的想法才最重要。
communicate v.交流；通讯；传达[记]大家(comm-)联合(uni-)到一起(-cate,动词尾）,要好好交流，传达彼此想法。[变]communication n.交流;通讯;交通设备（需复数）[例]FaceTime can help you to communicate with your friends from afar instantly and keep thecost down at the same time. FaceTime可以帮助你即时地和你远在天边的好朋友交流，同时还不用花太多钱。
opportunity n.机遇[记]打开(op-)港口（-port）成一体(unity)，机会都来我这里。[搭]avail an opportunity利用机会[真]For the Princess,the trip to this war-torn country was an excellent opportunity to use herpopularity to show the world how much destruction and suffering landmines can cause.对王妃来说，前往这个饱受战争蹂躏的国家是一个极好的机会，可利用她的知名度向世界展示地雷能引起多大的破坏和痛苦。
valuable a.宝贵的 n.贵重物品[记]-able表示 可以 ，可以带来价值，是贵重物品。[近]invaluable a.价值连城的[注]很多人都会以为这个词是 没价值的 ，这时后缀就起到了一锤定音的作用——in是否定，able是 可以被 ，注意，是被动！是小受！所以这个词叫做 不可以被衡量价值的，即 无价的，价值连城的 。[另]深度注意： 无价的 叫做valueless，less是表示 没有的 的后缀。可是有人会质疑说，那priceless为什么是 无价的 呢？因为value是 价值 ，而price是 价格，所以valueless表示 没有价值的 ，而priceless是 没有价格可以衡量的 。所以，priceless等于invaluable（无价的）。[例]Keep an eye on your valuables in the public place．在公共场所要注意自己的贵重物品。
