He could have said the same of many business leaders.【这句小白完全蒙圈了。could have done 可以表示过去本来有能力可以做某事的，但实际上没有那样去做，通常译为“本来可以”“本来能”等。|通过翻译就理解了——”他的话对于许多商界领袖同样适用。“|绕了个圈。意思是："他本可以说许多商界领袖也是这样的，但是他没有说。"不知道可不可以套用下,成为固定用法。他的话对于A同样适用=He could have said the same of A】
