我们来了解一下什么是名词性从句。名词性从句是指在句子当中起的作用相当于名词的从句，包括主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句和同位语从句。

我们举出几个例子：What she said is wrong.I said that she was wrong.I am who I am.The news that he will come back is true.以上几个句子中，名词性从句分别承担了不同的作用。

第一种，充当主语的主语从句。在剧中起朱玉成份的从句叫做主语从句，其连接词可以是单纯连词、连接代词和连接副词。

情况1.我们先介绍一下，that 引导的主语从句。that引导主语从句，that不做任何成分，没有含义，往往只能七到衔接作用。如：That he quitted the job surprised everyone.

情况2.that做主语从句时，通常会写成形式主语句型It is……that……那么上面的句子可以写成：it surperised everyone that he quitted the job.
